Galdorf

It can be pretty easy to get this solider on your side unless you didn't realize you'd need the piece he's looking for. Once he has it, he's all for the Alliance in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes!

How to Recruit Galdorf

During Reveal Harlan's Schemes you can fast travel to the Abandoned Mines (assuming you've recruited Carrie) and run into Galdorf right at the entrance. He tells you he's looking for Palenight Mail armor in the mine. There are a few options for getting this armor.

First, you can get the Palenight Mail in the mines. The easiest way to do this is to actually enter from the well in the northern courtyard of the castle and go to the same area where you recruit Ormond. A little northwest of Ormond is a light on the ground and when approached it gives you the option to pick it up. This is Palenight Mail.

If you've already done this and equipped, then sold the armor when you got better (like I did) there is another way to get free Palenight Mail. You will need to go to The Proving Grounds. When you get inside the main room, use the station to twist the halls until the transporter furthest from you is on the floor. From there go through the door on the right and go to the transporter. Follow the blue line back to the next transporter.

You'll see another blue line along the path that takes you up the stairs, go to the furthest door and down the stairs. From here you should be able to go straight to the transporter which will take you down to a room with only a chest. Inside the chest is Palenight Mail. Work your way backward to get back out of the Proving Grounds.

Finally, if these options are already used up for you, you can wait until you can go to Impershi'arc and buy it from their general store for 1170 baqua.

However you get it, you'll return to the Abandoned Mine entrance with it and speak to Galdorf again. He will take the armor and join the party.
