Gieran

In Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, Nowa finds Gieran conducting research in the middle of the forest. Gieran has spent a lot of time alone with his studies and is excited to join the group.

How to Recruit Gieran

In the middle of The Greatwood East you'll see a piece of the trail that spirals in toward the river in the middle and ends on an island inside the river.

Gieran has a campfire here and tells you he is looking for a Rune of Conversion. You will obtain this Rune as part of The Proving Grounds and return to him with it. After giving it to him, you can recruit Gieran to the party.
