When you first meet Ymir in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, he comes off as pretentious and a bit rude, acting like speaking to the Watch members is a waste of his time. But as you get to know him you see that he believes in Nowa, even if he won't tell him.

How to Recruit Ymir

At the end of The Eltisweiss Front Ymir hears Nowa say that Perielle has put him in charge of building a resistance army and is automatically added to the party among several others.

HQ Role

You will interact with Ymir the same as you do before he is officially added to the party. He allows you to see and swap your party members out and relays the message of your latest missions as he also helps you to rebuild your HQ Castle.
